Structured Sober Living Homes For Individuals in Recovery

Entering recovery can be difficult; we aim to provide fundamental services and structure to enable a successful transition into recovery.

To build a future in recovery, our foundation must be rooted in Solid Ground.

Solid Ground Recovery is a community based organization, currently providing structured living environments for adult men and women newly recovering from substance use disorder.

Residents are equipped with wrap-around resources along with safe and conducive housing to help them advance in recovery.

About Solid Ground Recovery

Solid Ground offers a home-like living environment for people transitioning out of treatment facilities and institutions. We work closely with individuals to establish meaningful employment. We also work with the criminal justice system to reduce recidivism and enforce positive community relationships. We give residents the time, support and resources they need to develop all necessary components of their new way of life.

Why Solid Ground?"

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide stability and resources in a safe setting for individuals who are struggling with substance use disorder. The goal is to help individuals in early recovery learn how to develop the skills to live substance-free, while living in a stable and structured environment. In addition, we will provide access to community resources that are vitally important in early recovery.

We strive to provide high quality residential homes, which promotes a higher expectation of individual achievement. We believe in creating an environment in which the resident can feel pride in occupancy. We offer our residents the building blocks that make long-term recovery possible.

Solid Ground Recovery's Vision

Solid Ground Recovery has a goal of changing the way communities view the services and people in recovery. Solid Ground Recovery sees a future with increased access to recovery services and adequate tools for empowering individuals to become productive members of the community.

Employment Support

We help our residents get back to work! We are connected within the community and can help direct individuals to jobs that give them purpose.

Process Groups

We recently partnered with Justice and Recovery to bring in peer-led empowerment process groups each week for both women and men. This creates a safe space for residents to improve their self-worth, gain inner strength, and connect with others.

Peer Support & Accountability

Living amongst peers who are navigating the same day-to-day challenges helps to strengthen a person’s sobriety. Residents are still able to work and maintain relationships with colleagues, family members and friends outside of the home, while also knowing they can come back to a place where they fit in.

Individualized Support

We advocate for our residents and help them overcome obstacles that may be preventing them from furthering their recovery.

Residential Housing

All of our houses are intentionally located within walking distance to grocery stores, pharmacies, 12 step meetings, bus stops & shopping so all your essential needs can be met.

Dog Fostering

We partner with Lucky’s Legacy to provide safe foster homes for dogs in need.  This helps boost the emotional stability of our residents as well as give them a sense of responsibility.
